PixKit — photo editor & creative tools

Effective date: April 10, 2026

Last updated: April 10, 2026

Summary

  • PixKit does not require an account and does not collect personal data for analytics, advertising, or profiling.
  • Editing happens entirely on your device — your photos and projects are not uploaded to our servers for processing.
  • We do not sell personal information. There is no user database in the App tied to your identity.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how QALA.DEV (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles information for the mobile application PixKit (the “App”). PixKit offers filters, fonts, overlays, text, adjustments (including brightness and many other controls), and features such as one-tap background removal (with optional solid background colors before you save) and one-tap background blur, along with other editing tools.

2. Information we do not collect

The App is designed to work without login. We do not ask you to create an account in PixKit, and we do not collect:

  • Name, email, phone number, or postal address through the App
  • Photos or edited images on our servers — processing is performed locally on your device
  • Precise location for advertising or analytics
  • Contact lists, calendars, or unrelated personal files

3. Local processing

Core editing workflows — including filters (20+), custom fonts (50+), overlays, text, brightness and other adjustments, background removal, and background blur — run on your device. Your images remain under your control unless you choose to export or share them using your device’s share sheet or other system features outside our control.

4. Permissions

The App may request access that your operating system controls — for example, to your photo library or camera — so you can import images and save results. Such access is used to provide App functionality on your device. We do not use these permissions to upload your library to our servers for PixKit’s core features as described in this policy.

5. App stores & device providers

When you download the App from Apple App Store, Google Play, or similar stores, those platforms may collect information according to their own policies (for example, purchase or crash diagnostics). That processing is governed by the store and your device settings, not by this policy alone.

6. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through PixKit.

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new effective date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
